Job Summary
Description
The Produce Clerk at Mothers Market is responsible for maintaining fresh high-quality produce displays while delivering exceptional customer service. Produce Clerks are ambassadors of Mothers Markets commitment to health and wellness ensuring that fruits and vegetables are handled with care and presented beautifully to create an inviting shopping experience for every guest.
Wage Range: $18-$24/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Stock rotate and maintain fresh produce displays to company standards
- Ensure proper product rotation freshness and quality control
- Assist customers with produce selection product questions and meal ideas
- Maintain cleanliness organization and food safety standards in the produce department
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership
- Remove damaged expired or unsellable items promptly
- Follow all company policies safety guidelines and food-handling standards
- Promote Mothers Market values including wellness sustainability and community
- Work collaboratively with team members to support overall store operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous produce grocery or retail experience is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends evenings and holidays

Physical Requirements
- Standing walking bending and repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Lifting carrying and pushing up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to cold temperatures (refrigeration and produce prep areas)
