Description of ESY

ESY is a continuation of educational support services provided to our students who qualify for special education services and ESY through a PPT. Services are provided to students ages 3-22. ESY will run for four (4) or five (5) weeks during summer 2026. Candidates applying for certified positions must hold the appropriate CSDE Certification(s). Positions are determined by student need. Candidates must be able to work the entire date range (four or five weeks).

Responsibilities

  • Implement students goals and objectives stated in the IEP;
  • Handle with Care Trained (or willing to complete training);
  • Student supervision;
  • Collaboration with paraeducators and support staff members;
  • Collect academic social emotional and behavior data;
  • Complete required records such as progress marks for Extended School Year and attendance;
  • Communicate with parents and staff;
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance; and
  • Be student-centered.

4 Week Program:

June 29 - July 23 2026 MondayThursday

  • Elementary (PreK-Grade 5) 9:00AM-12:30PM (Includes 30 min. Prep each day)
  • Secondary (Grades 6-transition) 8:00AM-11:30AM (Includes 30 min. Prep each day)

5 Week Program:

June 29 -July 30 2026 MondayThursday

  • Elementary (PreK-Grade 5) 9:00AM-12:30PM (Includes 30 min. Prep each day)
  • Secondary (Grades 6-transition) 8:00AM-11:30AM (Includes 30 min. Prep each day)
