The Role:
The Front Desk Supervisor is a key leaderwithinhoteloperations. This position will serve asliaisonbetween the guests hotelstaffand Director of Hotel Operations. The Front Desk Supervisor will drive exceptional customer service team buildingefficiencies and collaboration between guests and team addition this position willassistthe Director of Hotel Operations with creating and updating departmental policies and procedures hiring top talent training and developmentofteam members and event setup.
Responsibilities:
- Build guestand team member positiverelations.
- Participatesindepartmentaland companymeetings.
- Conduct departmental pre-shifts.
- Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
- Perform a friendly professional andtimelycheck inand checkout processes for arrivals and departures.
- Assigns guest accommodationsin accordance withprocedures and SOPs.
- Followsroom availability and reports any issues to supervisor.
- Handles assigned bank in accordancetoestablished internalcontrolsandperformsaccurateaccount postings to guest folios.
- Maintains knowledge of hotel occupancy statusspecial events in-house groups and other situations affecting thefrontdesks daily operation.
- Processes guest payments and accounts upon checkout in an efficienttimely andaccuratemanner.
- Ensure proper ID and a form of payment is obtained during guestcheck in.
- Ensure to complete daily reports audits and checklistsin a timely manner.
- Manage guest service calls requests and complaints.
- Accurately track teammembersattendance behaviors and performance.
- Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leader.
- Create and update shift schedules.
- Able to articulateallamenity offeringsof the hotel including catering rooms packages and F&B outlets.
- Brings any problems to the attention of the manager or supervisor on duty.
- Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
- Immediately report any safety hazards problems or maintenance issues to theappropriate party.
- Must be able to work with urgency and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training education and work experience.
- Must be friendly and courteous at all times.
- Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the department leaders.
- Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
- Immediately report any safety hazards problems or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
- Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Target Salary Range: $20.00 per hour
