Your Team & Role

The Director Procurement Relationship Management plays a key role in advancing Prudentials enterprise procurement strategy by partnering closely with senior business leaders to translate BU and functional priorities into structured commercial opportunities. This role serves as a trusted advisor across the business connecting stakeholder needs with GSPs full suite of capabilitiesincluding Sourcing & Category Management Contracts/CLM Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Systems & Analytics.

The Directorwill be part ofa team of relationship managers and value analysts whoidentifyopportunities model financial impacts drive adoption of procurement processes and ensure the delivery of meaningful P&Laligned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build deep partnerships with BU and functional leaders(includingnumerousseniorexecutives)tounderstand strategic plans and surface potential sourcing savings supplierinnovation and riskmitigation opportunities.

  • Translate business needs into structured opportunity briefs for GSP category sourcing and analytics teams.

  • Assess and compile action planspertaining toprocurement control reporting (e.g. compliance maverick spend guidedbuying adoption contract coverage) through Systems & Analytics dashboards andfacilitatecorresponding action plans.

  • Coach stakeholders on procurement processes interpreting KPIs and navigating the sourcing lifecycle to improve efficiency and experience.

  • Develop and refine financial models that quantify cost mitigation cost reduction margin impacts and supplierdriven value.

  • Ensure relationship management teamsleverageAIenabled tools for opportunity sensing andinsightsgeneration.

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with FP&A Sourcing Category leads CLM and TPRM to ensure consistent highquality delivery of procurement services.

  • Represent the GSP value proposition across assigned business units and functions ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption.

  • Guide and developjunior PRM team members; provide coaching and feedback to ensurestrong performanceand career growth.

  • Support global operating cadence across U.S. Japan Ireland and India procurement teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10 years of experience in procurement consulting financial analysis or supplier management.

  • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders and influence without authority.

  • Strong communication commercial modeling and storytelling capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving adoption of new processes technologies or operating models.

  • Curiosity and comfort working with digital tools includingAI assistedanalysis.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $147100.00 to $220700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills.
