Head of Product, Alexa Connections

The vision for Alexa is to be the worlds best personal assistant. Such an assistant will play a vital role in managing the communication lives of customers from drafting communications to coordinating with people on behalf of customers. At Alexa Connections were leveraging Generative AI to bring this assistant to life.

You will operate at the intersection of large language models real time communications voice and graphical user interfaces and mixed reality to deliver state of the art features for end customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Set the vision and strategy for our product portfolio as a Head of Product to maximize the business metrics impact from our team and delight our customers.
- Own product development from concept to launch with a world-class team of engineers data scientists and UX design experts.
- Drive industry defining product launches by working with business development public relations team executives in other companies and other product management team members
- Manage and grow a high performing PMT team
- Foster an organizational culture that Thinks Big is Customer Obsessed Data Driven can Prioritize Ruthlessly and communicates with clarity.

A day in the life
No one day will be exactly the same in this a given day you may be bringing a strategy doc to senior leaders filling an open role on the team running a product team meeting working with UX and engineering to solve a mission critical customer problem.

- 6 years of team management experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- Experience building and scaling communications/messaging products.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
