Overview

MSA is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the design delivery and administration of our Total Rewards this role yo ull use data-driven insights to help ensure fair competitive compensation and impactful benefits for our employee-owners. Youll collaborate closely with leadership vendors and HR partners in a culture that values teamwork trust and continuous improvement. This role can be either our Baraboo Madison Dubuque or Milwaukee offices with a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to MSAs compensation programs including salary structures job architecture market benchmarking and pay practices to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.

  • Lead and support the strategy administration and optimization of employee benefits programs.
  • Prepare and analyze data for the annual compensation cycle including merit increases and market adjustments.

  • Conduct internal equity and market analyses to ensure competitive and consistent compensation recommendations.

  • Administer incentive programs including bonus calculations and annual Total Rewards Statements.

  • Oversee benefits administration across medical dental vision retirement and disability programs.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to compensation and benefits.

  • Partner with HRIS and leadership to develop reporting and support enhancements to Total Rewards systems and processes.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Finance Data Analytics or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience supporting compensation benefits HR analytics or Total Rewards programs.

  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices including market pricing salary structure design and pay equity analysis.

  • Experience analyzing and administering benefits programs with exposure to self-funded plans and ESOP environments preferred.

  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and build data-driven recommendations.

  • Experience working within HRIS systems and collaborating across teams to enhance Total Rewards processes.

  • Detail-oriented proactive and solutions-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • CCP or CBP certification is a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from $79081 to $126500 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
