Job Summary
Join the Marriott Orlando Downtown team as a Part-Time Engineer working the PM this role you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operations of the hotels engineering systems during the evening hours ensuring a safe comfortable and efficient environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment systems and facilities.
- Respond promptly to engineering-related guest requests and emergencies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report any issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all engineering tasks.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to support operational needs during PM shift hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the evening shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours in the PM shift including weekends and holidays as needed.
