Assistant Fire Engineer (Graduate)
Job Summary
Location: Sheffield/Leeds (With Hybrid Working)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing fire safety strategies and reports for new and existing buildings in accordance with UK regulations and international codes.
- Conduct fire engineering calculations including means of escape smoke control and structural fire protection.
- Support the use of computational tools such as CFD and evacuation modelling software.
- Contribute to fire risk assessments audits and site inspections.
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external clients architects and building control bodies.
- Keep up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and technical standards.
- Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and graduate development programs.
- A degree (or pending) in Fire Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Building Services or a related STEM discipline
