Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale network migration initiatives as part of a multi-year (3-5 years) transformation programme within a global financial services environment. This role is highly delivery-focused and requires strong experience managing complex infrastructure programmes in regulated enterprise-scale environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution working closely with network engineering teams security vendors and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless migration with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of network migration projects including planning execution risk management and governance.
- Manage complex infrastructure workstreams across data centres WAN/LAN cloud connectivity and network security.
- Drive project schedules budgets dependencies and milestones across multiple parallel initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with engineering operations security and application teams.
- Manage third-party vendors and system integrators.
- Ensure adherence to financial services regulatory security and change management standards.
- Provide clear reporting and updates to senior management and steering committees.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Operate in a fast paced high accountability on-site environment.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of IT / Infrastructure project management experience
- Proven track record delivering network migration or large-scale infrastructure transformation projects.
- Strong experience in financial services or banking environments (highly preferred)
- Solid understanding of enterprise network technologies (WAN LAN firewalls data centres cloud connectivity)
- Experience managing multi-year programmes with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior management level.
- Strong governance risk and dependency management capability.
- Hands-on delivery driven mindset with the ability to operate 100% on-site.
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Project Management
- ITIL or relevant infrastructure certifications (advantageous)
