Blizzard Latin America is on the quest to find a legendary Marketing Manager to join our award-winning video game company and help take Blizzards universe to new heights in the region. The Marketing Manager will support the Publishing Director Canada & Latin America and the Senior Manager Publishing Lead in the development and execution of go-to-market plans and live-game marketing campaigns for Blizzard titles. This role will help plan execute and optimize consumer programs and promotions across the full marketing mix ensuring regional initiatives are aligned with global brand and creative strategies.

The ideal candidate is data driven with a strong grasp of marketing strategy and experience launching highly visible marketing activations. This individual is collaborative experienced working within a matrixed organization and skilled at building alignment and consensus with multiple partner teams. We are also looking for a curious and empathetic leader who will positively contribute to our team culture.

Your Mission

As our Marketing Manager you will develop and execute regional go-to-market plans aligned with global brand and creative strategies with the goal of acquiring new players and engaging existing players to achieve and exceed business targets. You will operate across Latin America a diverse region applying strong understanding of gaming behaviors across multiple platforms and business models.

Achieving these goals requires strong strategic judgment analytical thinking a creative mindset and effective communication and influencing skills along with a passion for solving complex problems in collaboration with partners across offices territories and functions.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position with a combination of on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The potential home studio for this role is São Paulo Brazil or Mexico City Mexico. We recognize that individual circumstances may vary and will work with candidates to explore other possible arrangements including remote options.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional marketing planning and execution for both unannounced and live Blizzard products across PC Console and Mobile including regional activations regional creative initiatives and regional marketing partnerships ensuring alignment with global strategies and effective prioritization of budgets and resources.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional publishing partners across Regional PR and Community Global Brand & Creative Growth Marketing Sales & Partnerships and other teams to assess regional player journeys and performance data continuously optimizing the regional marketing ecosystem.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs that demonstrate return on investment on a all presented plans having a good grasp of what success means in the region.
  • Integrate social media planning and performance analysis into regional marketing plans leveraging platform insights and engagement data to optimize GTM impact and social engagement across owned channels and external partners.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with regional partner agencies and third-party contractors to deliver high-quality best-in-class marketing execution.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights and Analytics teams to surface insights that inform strategic decision-making and contribute to marketing strategy development including participation in marketing research initiatives that generate meaningful market intelligence.
  • Serve as the regional product marketing expert acting as a key point of contact for regional teams and providing structured feedback to global product and brand teams to represent regional perspectives.
  • Support live service marketing integration across the region identifying opportunities to reflect cultural insights within live service initiatives.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and regional market conditions producing analysis and reporting that informs franchise-level planning and decision-making.
  • Foster strong working relationships with regional and global partners to ensure effective communication and alignment between Latin America and global teams.

Player Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in publishing marketing product management or planning within the video game entertainment media or related industries.
  • In-depth working knowledge of the Latin America video game market across PC console and mobile platforms including a strong understanding of regional communication channels regulatory considerations commercial models and platform nuances.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and spending forecasts with the ability to partner effectively with finance teams to maximize ROI and support OI growth.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives to completion manage complexity and resolve obstacles with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience working in a regional capacity across multiple markets including collaboration within multicultural environments and with remote teams.
  • Passion for data-driven and consumer insight-led decision making.
  • Passion for games and entertainment particularly Blizzard titles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English with the ability to clearly articulate ideas influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
  • Knowledge of game publishing processes and associated tools and technologies enabling effective collaboration and support across the regional ecosystem.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English Portuguese and/or Spanish.
