Compensation:
$60000 annually
Start date: Tentatively May 4th 2026 (but flexible)

You must be about to graduate or have graduated from university within the last 2 years with with any degree.
Please note however we are NOT looking to hire graduates with a background in Data Science or anyone wishing to pursue a Data Scientist career.

Successfully interviewed candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day in our Toronto offices end March 2026.

* Please note these are contract roles (12-18 months) with the potential to convert to permanent roles in the future*

The team
The Operations team is based in our Toronto office in the heart of the Financial District in downtown Toronto. The team is crucial to our business and plays a significant role in managing our existing book of business across all our products.

The Role


What are we looking for
We are looking for talented individuals who have excellent analytical and technical skills possess a keen interest in working with data and who want to start a career within the Financial Services industry.

We are NOT looking to hire graduates with a background in Data Science or anyone wishing to pursue a Data Scientist career.

Some of the key responsibilities for these roles are reviewing reinsurance treaties conducting data analysis and interpreting the results/arising issues. During our assessment process we will focus on your ability to excel in these activities.
To be successful within the role you will also need to be a collaborative team player and have good interpersonal skills with a curious nature. We pride ourselves in thinking differently and so seek people who are not afraid to challenge the norm.

What will I be doing
You will get hands-on experience across a wide range of activities and projects. From a deep understanding of our products and clients to reviewing client data to managing all our stakeholders and your own treaties youll gain a thorough grounding in life reinsurance including learning what a treaty is!
Your first three to six months will focus on opportunities and activities that will help you learn and develop. This will involve a period of intensive knowledge sharing around our products and internal training courses on our tools system and processes. By the end of that initial period you will also be working with other teams from around the business to implement and manage your own reinsurance treaties in our new global platform.
