About the role: We are looking for a Configuration Manager with a strong automotive background who will take full ownership of release and configuration management activities.
You will be the person bringing structure clarity and control to delivery processes from configuration setup to continuous process improvement.
What you will do:
Track and manage software and hardware releases in an automotive environment
Define implement and continuously update configuration and release management processes
Configure and administer Jira (workflows versioning release tracking)
Ensure version control and traceability in line with automotive standards
Collaborate closely with software systems and QA teams
Take full ownership of release and configuration management processes
Actively contribute to optimizing existing processes
What were looking for:
Automotive experience (essential)
Previous experience as a Configuration Manager / Release Manager or similar role
Solid understanding of versioning and release management processes
Hands-on experience with Jira configuration
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git SVN etc.)
Understanding of automotive standards (ASPICE is a plus)
Technical profile (background in software or systems engineering is an advantage)
Strong organizational skills and real ownership mindset
Fluent English
