Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. The SLPA will assist in assessment treatment implementation and development of individualized therapy programs while delivering high-quality care to residents and students in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in accordance with state regulations.
- Assist in the evaluation process as directed by the supervising Speech Therapist.
- Support the development of problem lists short-term goals long-term goals and treatment plans.
- Monitor client response to interventions and consult with the Speech Therapist regarding necessary modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with department standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Record billable treatment times per department procedures.
- Provide therapy services in alignment with established standards of practice and productivity requirements.
- Participate in Quality Assurance programs as required.
- Maintain ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Current TB screening and CPR certification
