Position summary:
The utility person is responsible for supplyingBackwinding Loading and unloadingwith creels. Assisting in Creel loading when necessary.
Educational requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Skills and experience:
Previous fork-lift experience helpful.
Essential duties:
Set up creels in Backwinding Loading and Unloading as needed.
Ensure tuggers are charged for the day at the beginning of the day.
Keep tugger wheels clean of yarn.
Assist operators in moving Portable Creels when needed.
Move completed creels to the staging area.
Move empty creels to staging area
Perform all duties in a consistent way so as to produce goods of consistent quality.
Refer to Utility Person Work Instructions for further instruction on the processes of the duties outlined here.
Assist in creel loading when necessary.
Maintain housekeeping
Comply with safety rules
Comply with environmental regulations
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ensure all ISO procedures are followed.
Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.
Perform other duties as assigned
Physical demands:
- Standing and walking on concrete floor for extended periods of time
