Supervises the daily operations of Laboratory Svcs ensuring adequate staffing on all three shifts; this includes monitoring turnaround times and customer satisfaction. Serves as a liaison and resource to lab staff and assists troubleshooting problems/issues that arise. Responsible for inventory management. Evaluates new procedures technology or safety devices. Works with medical director and lab manager on technical verifications / validations and updates / drafts written procedures.. Collaboratively develops and coordinates continuing education to ensure quality conjunction with the Laboratory Svcs management team prepares work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and is responsible for payroll functions. Ensures all standard operating procedures and practices adhere to federal and regulatory agency standards (CLIA and TJC). Works collaboratively with the laboratory management team on the collection and review of QC/QA data and implementing QI projects. Must quality as technical supervisor under CLIA.Required Experience:
