About you:

Do you want to make a positive difference to peoples lives

Relevant experience is desirable but not essential and applications are welcomed from individuals with transferable skills.

Job Role:

  • Demonstrates the skill of delivering care as prescribed in care plans for a group of residents under the guidance of senior staff.
  • To be able to give a comprehensive verbal and written report on the residents progress on a shift.
  • Delivers and understands the importance of maintaining hydration and nutrition.
  • Delivers and understands the principles of infection control and follows Foxburrow Grange policy.
  • Delivers and understands the principles of falls prevention.
  • Takes an active part in life story work understanding the principles and the expected outcomes.
  • Will contribute to the development of an activity based home culture.
  • Make all routine interventions a meaningful 30 second connection.
  • Use every care opportunity to see the person behind the illness.

The Service:

Foxburrow Grange is a 69 bed home with state-of-the-art facilities with an outstanding and friendly team of dedicated home has been delivering person-centred care for 30 yearsis within easy reach of major transport links and close to Colchester town home comprises of four wings. On the ground floor are 32 bedrooms for residents with dementia with a further 37 rooms on the first floor for people in need of nursing and/or dementia care.
