Job Description Summary

The System Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of service-related product features technical documentation training global parts availability and validation of service processes. This role provides visibility and requires collaboration with all organizational functions. The position spans the full product lifecycle- from definition through verification/validation through installed base support and supporting End-Of-Life activities. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality volume timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop service procedures for field modifications and part replacements.
  • Own product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnostics.
  • Define FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) strategies and collaborate with external teams such as Service Operations.
  • Maintain robust quality systems in compliance with GE HealthCare Quality policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering design principles architectures and advancements in service and engineering technologies.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to recommend improvements to products processes or technologies.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership capabilities to manage small teams on projects subsystems or platform initiatives.
