Acura of Memphis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented dealership title clerk to join our team in Memphis TN. The Title Clerk ensures the accurate and timely processing of all vehicle titles and related documentation for sold traded or auctioned vehicles. This role involves maintaining compliance with state regulations collaborating with sales and finance departments and providing exceptional support to customers regarding title and registration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new and used vehicle titles and registrations in compliance with state and local regulations
- Prepare and submit required documents to the DMV lien-holders and customers
- Maintain title records tracking status and resolving discrepancies
- Process title corrections duplicates and lien releases
- Assist with wholesales and out-of-state title work as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a title clerk DMV clerk or in automotive administration preferred
- Strong knowledge of state titling and registration requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
