Job Summary

Position
Join WCF insurance as a Safety & Risk Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) temporary position that works out of WCFs Sandy Utah headquarters.
Responsibilities
As part of our internship cohort youll collaborate with fellow interns and departments to learn insurance from many different angles. The program includes weekly paid training sessions on insurance terminology and regular opportunities to share experiences and insights with your cohort. Projects may include creating workplace safety & risk toolkits used by policyholders and agents to prevent injuries and other unwanted losses reviewing and updating safety & risk educational materials and data organization & analysis to help target safety & risk control resources.
Qualifications
- Completed Sophomore year of college or more in Occupational Health Safety Risk Management or similar degree. Graduate and PhD students welcome.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- General understanding of safety and risk management
- Familiarity with Power BI a plus.
Pay: $19/hour for undergrads. $24/hour for post-graduate students.
