Location: Chesterfield (Convenient for M1 and Sheffield commuters)
Salary: Local Government Grade (Competitive)
Contract: Permanent Term-time only
Hours: 37 hours per week (Standard school hours)
Detailed Responsibilities
Morning Prep: Ensuring all period 1 practicals are delivered to laboratories at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
Waste Management: Safely handling and disposing of hazardous waste and sharp objects according to environmental and school regulations.
Equipment Auditing: Conducting an annual audit of all science equipment to inform the long-term capital expenditure plan.
Supportive Presence: Being available during lessons to troubleshoot equipment issues or replenish supplies ensuring learning is never interrupted.
