The Facility Operator is responsible for supporting daily operations related to shipping mail services transportation maintenance and supplies at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID) building while also fostering strong working relationships with occupants vendors and maintenance teams.
This role ensures smooth facility operations by coordinating services maintaining accurate documentation and delivering exceptional customer service. From managing the flow of shipments to supporting daily building activity youll be at the center of the action every day! The Facility Operator reports to the Facility Operations Manager within the Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M).

Hours generally scheduled Monday-Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. Occasional nights weekends and holidays may be required for this position. Work is performed onsite.

The starting hourly rate for the Facility Operator position is $21.00 but it is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
