Schedule Details
Primary Schedule: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts (40 hours/week)
Monday Friday
Varied start times: 7:00 AM 7:30 AM 8:00 AM 8:30 AM or 9:00 AM
Alternative Schedule (for the right candidate):
3x12-Hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Includes Saturday Sunday and one weekday
Call Requirements
On-call required after 5:00 PM on weekdays
Weekend coverage supported by rotating call schedule (67 staff members)
Call structure includes Primary and Backup Call Technologists
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with Neuro experience to support a high-volume IR department. The technologist will assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout all phases of care.
Required Qualifications
Neuro Interventional Radiology experience (Required)
Active Radiology Technologist credentials (ARRT or applicable state license)
BLS Certification (Required)
Strong knowledge of interventional imaging equipment and sterile techniques
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional and neuro-interventional procedures
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure sterile field integrity
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
Monitor and document patient status during procedures
Ensure radiation safety compliance
Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
Patient Care
Assess and prepare patients for procedures
Provide education and post-procedure instructions
Monitor patient condition and report abnormalities
Ensure safe patient transport and positioning
