Youll be joining a high-trust patient-centered diagnostic imaging environment where the technologist is a clinical decision partner not just a task executor. Physicians rely on your judgment calculations and patient management skills daily.
NWTS is partnering with a major nonprofit healthcare system in Oregon to identify a Nuclear Medicine Technologist who wants stability modern equipment and meaningful patient impact without nights weekends or rotating chaos schedules.
What Youll Actually Do:
You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while managing both the science and the patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Perform gamma camera and related imaging procedures
Monitor patients before during and after studies
Perform dose calculations and data manipulation
Calibrate and quality-check imaging equipment
Coordinate isotope preparation and safety handling
Work directly with physicians on exam protocols
Educate and comfort patients who are often anxious or oncology-related
This is a hands-on clinical role not a conveyor belt imaging department.

Requirements:
You must meet one of the following at hire:
Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary License
AND:
AHA BLS Certification
Eligible for NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification within 6 months
Preferred:
2 years clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
PET/CT experience (helpful but not required)
Compensation & Benefits:
$103K $160K base salary (experience dependent)
$6000 sign-on bonus
