Job Summary
Bring your energy to Aggreko as a BESS Technician based in Dumbarton. As a BESS Technician you are responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the BESS fleet that is offered to S&R to make it ready for hire again within the requirements and standards.

What youll do as a BESS Technician:
Upon arrival of the fleet prepare an estimate determine which parts are needed and draw up an action plan.
Carry out maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines and/or in consultation with suppliers.
Testing detecting and resolving faults and if required customising the sets according to customer specifications
Provide support for the operational business specifically focused on BESS
Keeping track of timesheets maintenance and work reports
You are:
Timeserved Electrical Engineer (SCQF Level 7 / SVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship) with demonstrable handson experience in single and threephase electrics and strong practical knowledge of AC and DC control systems.
Proven experience maintaining and repairing BESS fleets (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and associated electrical equipment skilled at fault diagnosis testing and delivering robust repairs.
Must hold a full clean and valid driving license
Technically curious and quick to learn: comfortable reading schematics understanding new products and applications and applying technical knowledge across diverse systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills with clear professional communication; adept at building relationships and engaging stakeholders at all levels (internal and external) to achieve safe timely outcomes.
Safetyfirst mindset with uptodate working practices and regulatory compliance; competent in MS Office and PC tools flexible and willing to travel as required.
