We are looking to appoint a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an innovative and forward-thinking secondary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and a passion for supporting education through technology.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the schools IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems run efficiently supporting staff and students with technical issues and contributing to the ongoing development of digital learning across the school.
You will work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure that technology enhances teaching and learning. The role requires a hands-on individual who is confident troubleshooting hardware and software issues maintaining networks and supporting a wide range of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to staff and students
Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems hardware and software
Support network infrastructure and ensure system security
Assist with the setup and maintenance of classroom technology
Manage user accounts and access permissions
Contribute to the development of IT systems and resources
Requirements:
Relevant IT qualification or experience
Strong knowledge of hardware software and network systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly
Experience in a school environment (desirable)
Proactive and adaptable approach to work
