We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic and well-resourced secondary school in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to support a thriving science department and play a key role in enabling high-quality practical science lessons.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment supporting practical experiments and ensuring that laboratories are safe organised and fully equipped.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in science who enjoys working in an educational environment and has a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up equipment for science experiments
Maintain laboratory equipment and resources
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Support teachers during practical lessons
Manage stock and order supplies
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
Background or qualification in a science-related field
Experience working in a laboratory or school setting (desirable)
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Strong organisational and practical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enthusiasm for supporting student learning
