Position Description:
We are seeking a Payroll Corporate Application Specialist (CAS) to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team. This role is critical in supporting global payroll operations ensuring compliance and maintaining a robust payroll system. You will collaborate closely with Payroll HR Finance and IT teams to manage system configurations resolve issues and implement process improvements within the PeopleSoft HR/Payroll system.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Payroll Support & Compliance Provide day-to-day support to Global Payroll teams.
Assist with payroll activities such as year-end processing tax updates audits and system setups.
Research and apply North American payroll legislation changes to ensure compliance.
System & Technical Support Maintain and configure PeopleSoft HCM payroll applications for North America and global
Perform preliminary analysis of issues and coordinate with IT support for incident resolution and change requests. Conduct thorough testing of system changes and enhancements
Be on-call on night of pay confirms in case of any issues that would be found by the support team
Read and understand functional documents for all program changes to be done
Project & Process Management Participate in cross-functional projects involving HR Benefits Time and Finance teams
Prepare documentation procedures and internal communications to support payroll and HR groups. Support HR Business Partners during acquisition integrations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 35 years of experience in payroll operations and systems support.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM software.
Fluent in English and French (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Experience with multi-country/global payroll processes and compliance.
Familiarity with north America and global tax regulations.
Strong skills in data validation report generation and troubleshooting payroll discrepancies
Experience with query tools (e.g. SQL PeopleSoft Query).

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50000-$100000. This role is an existing vacancy
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
