Position Overview The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The PT conducts comprehensive assessments establishes measurable goals and develops individualized interventions to:

Reduce pain

Prevent disability
-
Promote mobility
Treatment methods may include therapeutic exercises manual therapy techniques physical modalities and assistive devices.
The PT also provides patient education on injury prevention ergonomics and rehabilitation strategies while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) students and support staff in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Continuous documentation and modification of care plans are required to ensure optimal outcomes.
Facility Overview 159-bed acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and surrounding communities in south-central Oklahoma providing comprehensive healthcare services to the region.
Minimum Qualifications (Must-Have) -
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Active Physical Therapist License in the state of Oklahoma

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
