Job Title: IAM Engineer

Location: Ban/Hyd/Pune India

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

IAM Engineer with understanding of identity meta systems and authentication mechanisms such as SAML OAuth and OIDC.

Working as part of the IAM team this role involves implementation and support of identity and access management solutions to ensure secure user authentication and authorisation.

This role typically involves working with identity providers integrating SSO solutions managing user lifecycle automation and supporting authentication protocols in a cloud or enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and optimizing IAM systems ideally Okta (or similar platforms).
• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of authentication frameworks using SAML OAuth and OIDC.
• Managing user identities roles and access permissions to enforce security policies.
• Participating in the integration of IAM with enterprise applications and APIs using federation standards.
• Supporting multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) configurations.
• Monitoring IAM system performance and troubleshooting authentication issues.
• Collaborating with security and IT teams on identity governance and compliance efforts.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 6 years of experience
• Basic to intermediate experience or knowledge of IAM protocols including SAML OAuth and OIDC.
• Okta administration migration implementation and integration skills are mandatory
• Understanding of identity federation user lifecycle management and access controls.
• Some hands-on experience with directory services like Active Directory and LDAP.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work with large enterprise environments and provide technical guidance and training.
