Job Summary

Job Description:

1. Design & Engineering
Perform detailed site surveys to evaluate solar potential shading analysis and structural integrity.
Design complete solar PV systems using AutoCAD (Layouts & SLDs) and PVsyst or Helio Scope for energy generation reports.
Select appropriate components including modules inverters (string/central) mounting structures and Balance of System (BOS).
Design DC and AC cable sizing earthing systems and lightning protection as per industry standards.
2. Project Execution & Management
Oversee the end-to-end installation of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Ensure that mechanical and electrical installations comply with engineering drawings and safety codes.
Manage local labour and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met for immediate commissioning.
Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material delivery and quality inspections.
3. Testing & Commissioning
Conduct pre-commissioning tests including string Voc/Isc measurements insulation resistance (Megger) and earth resistance tests.
Troubleshoot system faults and optimize inverter parameters for maximum yield.
Prepare as-built drawings and comprehensive project completion reports for client handover.
4. Statutory & Liaison
Prepare documentation for Net-metering applications and CEIG (Chief Electrical Inspector) approvals.
Coordinate with DISCOMs for grid synchronization and meter installation.
