The opportunity

Due to continued growth within our Risk Consulting service line we are expanding our leading Internal Audit team in Melbourne and are seeking a Senior Manager to join the team.

As a Senior Manager within our Melbourne Process and Controls (Internal Audit) team you will haveaccess to leadingedge tools and technology to further develop your skills and deliver impactful work for clients across a diverse range of industries.

Our team provides Internal Audit services to clients across Government Health Education and Corporate sectors including top 20 ASXlisted organisations. We support our clients to strengthen business processes and control environments enabling them to confidently manage key risks and make informed decisions with accuracy and speed.

The work we deliver has a tangible impact on the organisations we partner with supporting them to achieve their strategic objectives and longterm goals.

This role is based in Naarm Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the identification and conversion of new internal audit and controls opportunities.
• You will oversee a portfolio of client engagements and manage internal audit professionals in the delivery of internal audit engagements.
• You will be responsible for the development of junior internal audit staff through on-the-job training and facilitation of relevant training programs.
• Leading and guiding the team and client to create and deliver internal audit plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and strategies which comply with professional standards.
• Nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations deliverables and outcomes.

Skills and attributes for success

• A Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent qualification.
• Worked for a minimum of 8 years either in professional services or a combination of industry and professional services delivering internal audits to your stakeholders.
• Practical and solution-oriented approach to identify technical developments and evaluate and advise impacts.
• High level communication and engagement skills including exceptional report writing abilities.
• Strong business acumen commercially focused attitude.

Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.

• Professional accreditations will also be considered favorably (CPA CIA or CA).
• Inspiring leadership capability with the motivation to develop others build high performing teams and effectively delegate with appropriate levels of support.
• Excellent project management skills including ability to lead fieldwork.
