Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager North America EDI
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote (U.S. Mountain Central or Eastern Time only)
Rate : $70/hr to $75/hr w2
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery within the North American EDI program and drive cross-functional execution of ongoing EDI initiatives including quarterly go-lives.
This role requires a seasoned project leader who can independently manage complex multi-workstream initiatives while coordinating across global teams. The ideal candidate brings strong Agile experience comfort operating in Azure DevOps and the executive presence to manage a broad stakeholder group with confidence and professionalism.
This is a highly visible role supporting automation and operational efficiency initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
  • Lead planning execution and delivery of EDI initiatives across multiple workstreams
  • Own quarterly go-live coordination for North America
  • Align regularly with European and South American teams to ensure global program consistency
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans roadmaps and resource alignment
  • Identify risks dependencies and cross-team impacts; proactively drive mitigation strategies
  • Serve as Scrum Master when needed facilitating stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
  • Oversee work tracking in Azure DevOps including backlogs sprint boards dashboards and reporting
  • Ensure consistent project documentation and executive-level status reporting Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project status risks and key decisions
  • Communicate effectively with business leaders and technical teams
  • Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and actionable plans
  • Navigate diverse personalities and competing priorities with composure
  • Maintain alignment across a core team of approximately 12 contributors and a broader stakeholder group of 30 partners Strategic & Operational Impact
  • Support ongoing expansion of EDI adoption and automation initiatives
  • Analyze program metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to portfolio planning prioritization and roadmap discussions
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure predictable delivery
Qualifications
  • 7 years of project management experience in technology-driven environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong Agile/Scrum expertise including facilitation of ceremonies
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management
  • Ability to understand technical concepts such as APIs system integrations and application architecture
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables required)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Must operate within Mountain Central or Eastern time zones
Preferred
  • PMP or Scrum Master certification
  • Experience in EDI or enterprise integration environments
