Strong experience with SAP BTP SAP S/4HANA application and functional architecture across core business domains.
Deep understanding of SAP extensibility options and Clean Core aligned design patterns.
Familiarity with application monitoring observability and operational readiness in SAP landscapes.
Experience assessing custom code enhancements and workflows for simplification or retirement.
Ability to design applications with long-term maintainability performance and upgradeability in mind.

Role Descriptions: SAP Application ArchitectExpectations Deliverables for the RoleDefines end-to-end application architecture for SAP solutions aligned with business strategy and enterprise reference architectures by leveraging expert input from application platform integration data and security engineering teams. These reference architectures form the foundation for new SAP solutions and Clean Core principles by clearly defining what belongs in SAP standard in-app extensibility and side-by-side and approves designs to reduce customization technical debt and long-term maintenance application-level standards for monitoring logging and observability to ensure reliable and supportable and influences total cost of application ownership including build run support and upgrade ProficiencyStrong experience with SAP BTP SAP S4HANA application and functional architecture across core business understanding of SAP extensibility options and Clean Corealigned design with application monitoring observability and operational readiness in SAP assessing custom code enhancements and workflows for simplification or to design applications with long-term maintainability performance and upgradeability in SkillsStrong decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed quality and long-term communicator who can explain architecture choices trade-offs and cost impacts to individual who brings together multiple engineering teams to shape shared challenging designs constructively in ARB reviews Acts as a trusted advisor partner to other IST Teams
