Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading academic medical center. This role will support both Acute Care and Outpatient services delivering high-quality patient-centered therapy in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and mobility.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and rehabilitation staff.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and discharge planning.
Participate in weekend rotation (one weekend per month).
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
Active New York State Occupational Therapy License Required.
Minimum 12 years of OT experience.
Acute Care and Outpatient experience Required.
Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance.
Preferred Experience
Trauma care experience.
ICU experience.
