Position Location: Budapest

Position Summary:

Performs basic to moderately complex accounting tasks associated with the preparation and maintenance of Accounts Payable and other financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process Vendor Master Data requests through ServiceNow including ticket categorization validation and resolution in line with defined SLAs.
  • Perform vendor master data maintenance activities in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) such as vendor creation vendor changes and bank detail updates.
  • Validate vendor information and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies regulatory requirements and audit standards.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing or incorrect information and ensure completion of compliance requirements.
  • Proactively follow up on open requests and outstanding actions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Investigate and support resolution of vendor-related issues or discrepancies escalating when necessary and contributing to root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal controls and data quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in multinational (ideally shared services) environment is desired however fresh graduates are also welcome
  • Confident knowledge of MS tools (Outlook Excel)
  • Ability to handle large volumes of invoices within the agreed SLA while using several ERPs and workflows
  • Ability to multitask and follow (frequently changing) priorities
  • Team person attitude quick learner flexibility and high adaptability to change
  • Positive mindset can-do attitude
  • Conduct calls with suppliers if needed to align with internal compliance guidelines.

Nice to have:

  • Accounts Payable working experience within shared services environment
  • SAP/Microsoft Navision/QAD knowledge in Accounts Payable
  • Process Improvement/Process Standardization/Process Automation experience
