Job Summary
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and technically strong Maintenance Engineer who takes pride in keeping critical systems running safely smoothly and compliantly. This role is vital to ensuring uninterrupted operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality in API manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot maintain and improve API manufacturing equipment such as reactors (GLR SS) centrifuges dryers (Tray RVD FBD) blenders vacuum systems chillers and cooling towers.
- Utilities Maintenance: Ensure reliable operation of utilities including boilers air compressors HVAC purified water systems nitrogen systems and ETP/STP with a focus on efficiency and optimized consumption.
- GMP & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to US FDA WHO and cGMP guidelines. Ensure all SOPs logbooks and maintenance records are accurate and audit-ready.
- Calibration & Validation: Coordinate calibration activities and support the validation team with IQ OQ and PQ documentation.
- Safety & EHS: Uphold plant safety standards manage hazardous materials responsibly and actively participate in risk assessments.
- Inventory Management: Monitor critical spare parts coordinate with procurement and help control maintenance costs without compromising reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement preventive maintenance schedules conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend energy-saving and efficiency-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of API manufacturing processes and GMP documentation.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical electrical PLC and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with strong team coordination skills.
