The UK audit team has an exciting opportunity for the role of a Senior Audit Manager. As a Senior Audit Lead you will take full ownership of complex contract compliance audits across a diverse portfolio of UK and European clients. You will be responsible for managing agency relationships and maximising recovery value for our clients. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for technical excellence and ensuring the delivery of unassailable audit results within an evolving media landscape. The Senior Audit Manager will act as a trusted operator and a team player within the UK audit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting audit programs in UK and other European countries for local and international clients with possibilities of other regions as well
- Review of framework agreements between client and agency for audit preparation
- Lead and deliver end-to-end single or multi-market audits ensuring all work is executed with 100% accuracy and within agreed timelines.
- Interpret complex media creative influencers BTL etc agency contracts to identify non-compliance grey areas and recovery opportunities.
- Analyse financial data and contract mechanics to identify non-compliance
- Manage conversations and technical disputes with agencies on an audit-by-audit basis to deliver comprehensive findings
- Draft high-quality audit report and executive summaries that clearly articulate complex findings to non-technical client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and additional service lines through deep analysis of client ecosystems.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current media landscape transparency issues and emerging industry trends.
- Reporting line to Head of UK auditors
- Responsible for the development and daily duties of Auditors and Audit Executives
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 7 years of experience within a Media Creative BTL etc agency environment (or within a specialist contract compliance firm)
- ACCA ACA CIMA qualified or very close to qualification
- Fluency in English other languages beneficial given our international remit
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel Word PowerPoint
- A willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international) as required
- Experience managing Head of Procurement or Marketing Director level relationships is highly desirable
