Job Summary

Job Description:

The Welder / Ferro Mechanical is responsible for fabricating assembling and repairing metal structures machinery and mechanical components. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques interpretation of blueprints and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks using MIG TIG Arc and other welding techniques on steel iron and ferro alloys.
Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and fabrication plans.
Assemble and install mechanical components structures and machinery.
Conduct inspections to ensure weld quality strength and compliance with specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
Ensure workplace safety by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other team members on project execution.
Troubleshoot and repair metal structures or machinery as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a welder in industrial mechanical or fabrication settings.
Proficiency in MIG TIG Arc and/or other welding methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of metal properties welding codes and standards.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling heavy materials and tools.

Preferred:

Certification in welding (e.g. AWS or equivalent).
Experience with mechanical assembly or ferro-alloy structures.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and quality control procedures.
