Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager (Special Projects)

Maple Reinders Constructorsis currently searching for an experiencedAssistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join our Special Projects team in Mississauga Ontario.

The Special Projects Project Manager is Maple Reinders designated representative to the Owner/Client. The morals ethics and standards of the company and its employees are to be reflected. The Special Projects Project Manager is responsible to procure estimate and run as the lead on projects between $500000 to $5 million.

This person is ultimately responsible for:

Securing project leads.
Providing project estimates and proposals.
Collaborate with owner and consultants to design project to meet the needs of the client.
Ensuring that a targeted margin and profit is made on every project.
Ensuring that the work is performed as per the contract documents.
Managing all project documents and financial tracking.
Completing the project with outstanding quality.
Ensuring the project is a safe workplace.

Qualifications/ Skills:

University degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma (Civil or Mechanical) or a combination of education and industry experience preferred.
2 years experience as a Senior Project Coordinator Estimator or Project Manager in the construction industry.
Knowledge of ICI construction with focus on fit-ups and renovations.
Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word Excel Outlook Project etc.).
The ability to use/learn industry specific software programs such as Maples Internal Project Management Software estimating software and MS Project.
Previous estimating experience is an asset.
Valid drivers license.

Salary Range: $85000 - $105000 / Year (depending on experience)

Location: Mississauga Ontario with travel to sites as needed.
