Oversee daily branch operations including sales parts service and workshop departments.
Ensure efficient servicing and maintenance of earthmoving equipment.
Maintain optimal stock levels of equipment and spare parts.
Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Drive sales growth of earthmoving equipment (new and used) parts and services.
Develop and implement branch sales strategies aligned with company targets.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors mining houses construction firms and plant hire businesses.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the region.
Achieve monthly quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets.
Prepare and manage branch budgets.
Monitor income statements expenses and profitability.
Control operational costs and improve margins.
Ensure effective debtors management and stock control.
Lead motivate and manage branch staff including sales representatives technicians and administrative personnel.
Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Resolve escalated customer complaints effectively.
Maintain long-term client partnerships in construction mining and infrastructure sectors.
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management Mechanical Engineering or similar (advantageous).
Minimum 58 years experience in the earthmoving equipment or heavy machinery industry.
At least 35 years in a management role within a branch or operations environment.
Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment such as excavators loaders graders and dump trucks.
Experience managing workshop and parts departments.
Understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of plant hire mining or construction industry requirements.
Financial acumen including budgeting and profit & loss management.
Required Skills:
