THE OPPORTUNITY

This position is part of the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) divisionwhich develops lifechanging technologies that help people with diabetes live healthier fuller lives.


The role is based within the Barcelona IT Hub a dynamic international and highly collaborative environment that supports strategic digital and technological initiatives across the organization.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Manage daytoday office operations including supplies vendors facilities and operational budget.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings workshops events and team activities endtoend (internal and external).

  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external visitors ensuring professional representation of Abbott.

  • Provide structured executive and administrative support (calendar travel arrangements presentations reporting expenses documentation).

  • Act as a liaison between the Barcelona office and regional teams ensuring alignment and communication across offices.

  • Support the preparation and coordination of RCEs and other corporate documentation.

  • Assist with assigned projects monitor deliverables and contribute to process improvements.

  • Support data gathering documentation and reporting activities.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and maintain strict confidentiality.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 23 years of experience in office coordination administrative support or executive assistance.

  • Advanced English proficiency both written and spoken for effective communication with regional teams.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint).

SKILLS / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Office Operations & Organization: Strong ability to manage office supplies vendors facilities and event logistics while maintaining excellent planning and prioritization skills.

  • Executive & Administrative Support: Proficient in calendar management travel coordination expense reporting and preparing presentations and documents.

  • Communication & CrossTeam Collaboration: Clear professional communicator able to coordinate effectively with internal teams and regional offices.

  • Proactivity & ProblemSolving: Anticipates needs resolves issues independently suggests process improvements and consistently maintains confidentiality.
