Position Summary
Our client is looking for a highly experiencedProcurement Managerto lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities forproject-based purchasing particularly related toIT systems and high-value equipment. The role requires strong leadership capability solid commercial acumen and proven experience in handlinglarge-scale procurement projects with values up to THB 1 billion.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders ensuring procurement excellence cost efficiency risk mitigation and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manageend-to-end procurement processesfor project-based purchasing including IT systems capital equipment and strategic investments
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project objectives timelines and budgets
Manage sourcing supplier evaluation negotiation contract award and vendor performance management
Handle procurement ofhigh-value equipment and systemswith total project value up toTHB 1 billion
Work closely with cross-functional teams such asIT Engineering Project Management Finance and Legalto ensure procurement supports project success
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to achieve optimal cost quality delivery and risk balance
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies governance requirements and best practices
Identify cost-saving opportunities value engineering initiatives and process improvements
Lead coach and develop the procurement team to enhance capability performance and engagement
Monitor market trends supplier risks and industry developments relevant to procurement strategy
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or related field (Masters degree is a plus)
Minimum 10 years of procurement experience with at least35 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong background inproject-based procurement especially forIT systems machinery or capital equipment
Proven experience handlinglarge-scale procurement projectswith equipment
Solid negotiation skills with local and international suppliers
Strong leadership stakeholder management and decision-making skills
Experience in contract management and commercial terms negotiation
Good command of English (spoken and written)
