Position: Calibration Technician
What youll do
- Monitor and maintain the calibration database for all Archer Aviation locations
- Manage schedules and relationship with Calibration suppliers to ensure timely responses to calibration requests
- Develop procedures as required to perform routine calibration of precision measurement instruments including but not limited to gauges sensors pressure testers torque wrenches and other related tools in-house
- Ensure all new purchased equipment and instruments are properly documented and cataloged within the Calibration database
- Ensure instruments conform to national and international standards (e.g. NIST ISO FAA or other relevant bodies)
What you need
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years experience as a Calibration Technician ideally within the aerospace manufacturing or engineering industries
- Ability to work within a team environment
Bonus qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 standards
- Familiarity with Devonway
- Familiarity with gage repeatability & reproducibility evaluations
- Familiarity with statistical process analysis
- Experience with SAP
