Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. The Early Childhood Educator will work collaboratively with parents caregivers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

The role:

• Education and Care Practitioner role Level 2B on our Enterprise Agreement

In this role you will:

• Uphold the safety rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment abuse and neglect.
• Provide meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture childrens curiosity creativity and growth.
• Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Create engaging and welcoming room setups that promote exploration and learning
• Document and reflect on childrens learning and development
• Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships share insights about childrens learning and ensure continuity between home and the service.
• Commit to your own professional growth and development
• Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmanias policies procedures and the National Quality Framework

What youll bring:

• An ACECQA-approved cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma in Early childhood Education.
• Previous experience in a similar early childhood or long day care role.
• A strong commitment to child safety and upholding safeguarding practices at all times.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) with willingness to learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in daily practice
• A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity childcare services)
