San Miguel Power Association Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented customer-focused Member Billing Representative to support accurate billing operations and assist members with account and payment questions. This role is key to ensuring timely billing account maintenance and requires excellent customer service.
What Youll Do
Process monthly bills adjustments and payment drafts
Maintain accurate member account records
Respond to billing inquiries by phone email and online systems
Monitor special billing programs (Budget Billing Prepay net metering etc.)
Assist with collections processes reporting and account research
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Accounting coursework or at least 1 year of billing/accounts receivable experience preferred
- Prefer experience within the utility industry and specifically with San Miguel Powers billing software
Strong math computer and data accuracy skills (Excel helpful)
Professional communication and customer service skills
Valid Colorado drivers license (or ability to obtain)
This is a non-exempt hybrid position. After the probationary period you may work both partially in person and partially remote. Some travel will be required.
