The post holder will assist in the delivery of the Nature Towns and Cities (NTC) project through contribution to the new Walsall Nature and Health Strategy and action plan plan and deliver a wide range of community events and support communities with actions to deliver nature recovery in their local greenspace.

Carry out and evaluate small scale practical projects aligning nature-based solutions.
Engage with and contribute to local regional and national networks and initiatives where necessary to promote nature recovery in borough.
Work with colleagues and a wide range of external stakeholders to deliver the NTC project.
Work within the team to plan and lead conservation activities and events design publicity material to build interest in NTC nature recovery activities and maintain records of project achievements.
Relevant ecological / environmental / conservation based HND (minimum requirement) qualification.
Numeracy and literacy to A level or equivalent.
Full Drivers Licence Category B minimum
Demonstrates continual professional development (CPD) particularly in one of the following fields: voluntary sector / land management / conservationand a commitment to ongoing CPD moving forward
