Business Test and Automation Engineer – High-Value Payment Processing System

We are looking for a curious skilled and critically minded Test Engineer who likes to test and automate business and payment processing and to ensure and improve the quality of highly secure and high available financial applications. You will be able to learn about the business of the financial applications that we develop and help with continuous improvements.

What to Expect:

In this role you will:

• Develop and maintain test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests for new software release of applications in an accurate and timely manner
• Propose and create procedures that help to find errors existing in the product and execute test cases/regression tests to ensure minimal discrepancy between specified and implemented functions
• Review requirements/design documents to ensure testability and become acquainted with products
• Design test plans of low to medium complexity. Write and execute test cases of medium complexity and analyze and log test results
• May coordinate testing of hardware/software components for small projects
• Participate in and contribute to testing process improvement efforts
• Participate in the implementation of test automation tools

What will make you successful:

We are seeking professionals with:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2 to 5 years of experience within a development or testing environment; 1 year of experience in testing
• Affinity to business and payment processing and to the way money flows
• Basic to good Knowledge of Windows and Unix (for example installing applications and investigating problems) is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle)
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (along with git)
• Ability to debug and identify issues
• Knowledge in Robot Framework Selenium
• Testing methodology certification (e.g. ISTQB CAT)
• Experience with Quality Center/AML or other Test Management Tools
