Manager Business Planning

The Manager BusinessPlanningwillbe responsible forfinancial planning& analysisas part of the Global Business Planning team. Key tasks include financial analysis management reporting analyzing key trends and recommending potential strategies to management to ensure that we achieve our financial and non-financial targets as well as leading a team of analysts and senior teams area of responsibility is over the DTIS team (Digital Technology Information Services) overseeing their financial planninggovernanceand proving other related support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide budget forecast and mid-range planning support for global divisions as financial businesspartner:
- Work with budget owners to prepare and review bottom-up Budget/Forecast
- Analyzedata - providerecommendations challengeassumptions.
- Review data at the cost centerconsolidatedfunction level leadership team/global division data integrity of business drivers of the global division.
- Createbudget presentation materialsandmonthly financial monthly financial review meetings with budget owners. Ensure accountability.
- When applicable perform g/l analysis and work withvendor managementteam and business to prepare monthly journal entries for Accounting Dept.(accruals reclasses recharges and intercompany transfers).
- Supportouroverallannual (budget mid-rangeplan)quarterly and monthly forecasting the consolidation process. Ensure data integrity.
- Lead a team of analysts and senior analysts providing guidance and mentorship for their development and ensuring team goals are achieved.
- Develop thoughtfulanalysisand deliver key insights that support strategic decision ad-hoc analysis and develop financial modelsex:gap and trend analysisrisks and opportunities and ownership to ensure successful outcomes.
- Work with internal leadership team/stakeholders as part ofthe monthly and quarterly reporting reportingforHCOPEXCapEx/ fixed asset tracking and other KPIs.
- Liaison between global division and global/regional CP&A Accounting and Finance teams.
- Drive theautomation ofreporting and streamline processes.
- Support globalization efforts.
- Ensure financial controls(i.e. implementation of the financial KPI)and governance.
Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with and ability to work with senior & executive leaders.
- Experience managing people and leading a team.
- Excellent communicationand leadershipskills
- Experience & understandingin applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to multitask and deliver against aggressive timelines
- Advancedproficiencywith Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingnesstoassistwith a variety of tasks and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge/understanding of accounting and financial statements
- Minimum7yearsofrelevantwork experience
- Bachelors degreeor equivalent work experience
- Japanese languageproficiencyconsidered a plus but not essential
