RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads or supervises a team of configuration management specialists. Serves as the Configuration Management CM Lead or CM Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Provides configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements.
- Facilitates and advises the DLA Configuration Control Steering Group (CCSG) and Configuration Control Working Groups (CCWG).
- Maintains allocated functional and physical baseline control and performs audit support.
- Reviews all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
- Maintains configuration control records and technical documents.
- Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
- Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ten (10) years relevant experience
- Experience leading or supervising a team of configuration management specialists.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
