About the Leisure Club Assistant role;
- To provide a friendly service to our guests at all times
- To have a robust understanding of the day-to-day operation of a Leisure Club including; Pool & Gym.
- To support the Leisure Supervisor delivering exceptional customer service building a rapport with our resident Guests and leading and motivating the Leisure team with the delivery of our 5 star service standards
- Ensuring that attention to detail reflects our professionalism; you will be expected to carry out regular audits and quality checks on all Leisure Club Gym and Swimming Pool facilities addressing any shortfalls and ensuring that our 5star operational standards are maintained at all times
- Ensuring that cleanliness is kept to the highest standards on poolside changing rooms sports and leisure facilities gym and spectator areas.
- Ensure the safety of all guests and team members by supporting the compliance and delivery of all company health and safety standards and systems meeting all legal obligations as well as ensuring the security of equipment chemicals and plant rooms

Customer service experience is essential to be considered for this role.
Hours of work:
- Leisure Club is open from 7.45 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
- You will work 32 hours per week over 5 days to include weekends and bank holidays.
- Shifts will be worked between 11am - 7.30pm
** Rates of pay - Based upon age:
12.21 per hr - Over 21
10.00 per hour 18 - 20

*Due to our rural location the successful candidate will have a full UK driving licence together with their own vehicle as you will be unable to reach us using public transport*
Qualifications :
Whilst no formal qualifications are required for this role we are looking for individuals who bring the right attitude energy and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a face-to-face customer service role ideally within a leisure fitness or hospitality environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to go above and beyond
- A flexible attitude with a willingness to support cleaning duties and maintain high standards across the Leisure Club
- The ability to remain calm professional and efficient in a busy environment
- A strong team ethic alongside the confidence to work independently when required
Experience within a leisure club gym or similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential full training will be provided.
